Migrating your website from another host is straightforward. There are two options depending on where you're coming from.
Option 1: Free Migration Service
For most hosting plans we'll move your site for you at no extra cost. Open a support ticket with details of your current host (login details or a backup file) and we'll handle the rest.
Option 2: Upload a Backup Yourself
If you already have a backup from your old host (or you're moving from another Enhance-based provider), you can import it directly:
- Log in to the Webfort control panel and go to Websites.
- Click Add website and create a blank website for the domain you're migrating.
- From the new website's dashboard, click Upload backup.
- Choose your backup file — the import runs automatically.

Before You Switch
- Keep your old hosting active until the transfer is confirmed working.
- Test your site using a preview URL or hosts-file override before updating nameservers.

Allow up to 24 hours for DNS to propagate fully worldwide.
