Your websites, databases, and emails are automatically backed up every 6 hours on all Webfort hosting plans. You can also generate manual backups and restore from any available snapshot at any time.
Creating a Manual Backup
- Log in to the Webfort control panel and go to Websites.
- Select the website you'd like to back up.
- Click Backups in the top navigation menu.
- Follow the on-screen options to create a new backup.
Restoring a Backup
When restoring, you have three options:
- Full Website: Restores all files and databases (email data is not included).
- Email: Restores all email accounts and forwarders.
- Custom: Choose specific files, databases, or email accounts to restore individually.
How to Restore
- In the Webfort control panel, go to Websites.
- Select the website you want to restore.
- Click Backups in the top navigation.
- Find the backup you want to restore from and click Restore.
- Choose your restore type and confirm.
Warning: Restoring a backup will overwrite your current website data. Any changes made after the backup was taken will be lost and cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming a restore.
