DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email authentication method that helps prove your emails are genuinely sent from your domain. Enabling it improves email deliverability and reduces the chance of your messages being marked as spam.
Steps to Enable DKIM
- Log in to the Webfort control panel and go to Websites.
- Select the website you want to enable DKIM for.
- Click Domains in the top navigation and select your domain.
- Scroll down to the Email authentication section.
- Toggle DKIM to the on position.
Please allow a few minutes for the system to update and for DKIM to show as validated.
Using Webfort Nameservers
If your domain uses the Webfort nameservers, the required DNS records will be added and validated automatically — no further action is needed.
Using External DNS (e.g. Cloudflare)
If your DNS is managed elsewhere (such as Cloudflare or another provider), the control panel will display the DNS records you need to add manually. Add these to your external DNS provider, then return to the control panel to check the validation status.
If you need help setting up DKIM or interpreting the DNS records, our support team is here to assist.
