Once you've created an email account (see How to Create an Email Account), you can connect it to your preferred email client using the settings below.
Server Settings
Use these settings in any desktop or mobile mail client:
- Incoming server (IMAP, recommended): mail.yourdomain.com, port 993, SSL/TLS
- Incoming server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com, port 995, SSL/TLS
- Outgoing server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com, port 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS)
- Username: your full email address (you@yourdomain.com)
- Password: the password you set when creating the mailbox
- Authentication: required for outgoing mail
Microsoft Outlook
- Go to File > Add Account.
- Enter your email address and click Connect.
- If automatic setup fails, choose Change account settings and select IMAP.
- Enter the server settings above.
- Click Next, then Done.
Apple Mail (macOS)
- Open Mail and go to Mail > Add Account.
- Select Other Mail Account and click Continue.
- Enter your name, email address, and password and click Sign In.
- If prompted for server details, choose IMAP and enter the settings above.
- Click Sign In and then Done.
Gmail (web)
To check your domain email from Gmail:
- In Gmail, click the gear icon and choose See all settings.
- Go to Accounts and Import > Check mail from other accounts and click Add a mail account.
- Enter your email address and select Import emails from my other account (POP3).
- Use the POP3 settings above.
- Optionally, add it as a "Send mail as" address using the SMTP settings.
Thunderbird
- Go to Account Settings > Account Actions > Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, email address, and password, then click Continue.
- If auto-detection fails, click Manual config and enter the server settings above.
- Click Done.
Troubleshooting
- Authentication failed — use your full email address as the username.
- Can receive but not send — make sure SMTP authentication is enabled and try port 587.
- Emails not syncing across devices — use IMAP, not POP3.
