Each of your clients gets their own cPanel account, which you create and manage through WHM.
Creating a New Account
- Log into WHM and go to Account Functions > Create a New Account.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Domain — your client's primary domain (e.g. theirdomain.co.uk).
- Username — a short username for the cPanel account (max 16 characters, lowercase).
- Password — set a strong password or use the generator.
- Email — your client's contact email address.
- Select a Package to assign resource limits, or choose Select Options Manually to customise.
- Click Create.
What Your Client Gets
Once the account is created, your client can log into cPanel at https://theirdomain.co.uk:2083 using the username and password you set. From there they can manage their website files, email accounts, databases, and more.
Modifying an Account
To change an account's resource limits or package, go to Account Functions > Modify an Account in WHM. Select the account and adjust as needed.
Suspending or Removing an Account
- Suspend: Go to Account Functions > Manage Account Suspension. This disables the account without deleting any data.
- Remove: Go to Account Functions > Terminate an Account. This permanently deletes the account and all its data.
Warning: Terminating an account cannot be undone. Always confirm with your client before removing an account.
